Mood:  irritated

I dreamed of how I wanted this blog to be,,what I would focus on and how I would focus on it,,and built it.And then a glitch occurs that prevents me from continuing as I had allready began.Tripod tells me it's fixed when it isn't,,then ignore further request I made.

AFTER  THAT happens,,Tripod actually sends me an email saying :

After all,,I have an excuse for NOT updating according to planned critria because they won't fix the glitch.

I want The Original Staks to be part of my 'blog' itself,,not part of the other site,,just like I had it built allready.

Instead,,I have to do the thing I didn't want to because they can't put the link back the way it was when I started out.

I unexpectedly wound up completing and posting part 7 of Wee!Gee!.I don't know what got into me,,but 'hoo!there it is' anyway.

I know there are people coming through and reading this stuff,,I can hear youse guys breathing.Can someone,,at least one of you send a scathingly cruel critique/review of it or FFOII? or something else found here to me?

Now,,if you would rather send a complimentary one instead,,feel free to do that too.(I promise I won't tell no one your name or nic if tell ya me not to.)

Now,,for the 'beehive in a palm tree log':

I have a beehive moved into a hollow palm tree log behind my building.(It was knocked down by those two hurricanes that allmost led to my death,Frances & Jeann)

It's neat as far as I am concerned,,although my wife is 'sensitive' to their stings.I am going to see if I can get some pictures with my crappy little Chinese made Vivicam 3350 digital camera,,(it took the pics in the Frances & Jeann pic album) but I may have to clear some memory in this pc (a back-up w/only a few gigs total mem and about 500mbs free right now) to do it.

Anyone know anything much about bees and moving them?

Okay,,I decided to go ahead and start a new instance of The Staks.I wasn't going to just yet but nybrit asked a question that deserved a response so instead of trying to respond with the Excite Boards editor I just did what I did before.It looks the same.

The Original Staks are still there but are static.Maybe Tripod will fix the glitch one day.

Tripods page view counter has been acting odd too but the on the 31st of the past month it showed I had 1928 pg views for that month.Not as hi as the prev month,,but I liked it.I had missed like 20 days in making updates or entries so I expected it to be less.Thanx a bunch to those who came by,,I appreciate it.

To those who came by the first time,,I hope you liked (or hated) something enuff to come back and check it out again in the future.

To  those that came seeking new stuff during that time,,sorry.

But,,for youse guys,,I got myself busy banging on this keyboard and I HAVE NOW posted part 6 of Wee!Gee!

A few thoughts and a few questions inspired from reading the thread 'Kicking God to the curb':

In God we trust being on our money seen as offensive to other religions.

How?Don't they believe in God too?Unless you count atheists,communists,humanists and other alledged non religions that are promoted,advocated and defended by their adherents just as zealously as any 'devoted' religionist would their own religion.
(That makes those ideologies equal to a religion,,doesn't it?)

In God we trust being on our currency is a 'christian thing'.

The name of God is not God in any religion.The word God is a title,,not a name.
The Christians have allmost as many different 'names' of god as their are sects of christians.
(Hey,,how come when Islamists say 'Allah',,everyone accepts it as okay because they say it means God but when a Christian says God,,everyone acts like it is a different word all of a sudden and get all offended?)

God being a basis for the 'inalienable rights' our constitution says we have.
If the phrase 'Our Creator' does NOT mean 'God' then who is the human or alien it refers to as being the one who 'created' us?

IF there is no 'creator' then there is no entity with the authority over 'inalienable rights' to endow them on us.
(No creator = no inalienable rights)

Since 'our creator' is synonymous with the title God then to NOT show trust in God in a tiny way like putting it on our currency is equal to not trusting the idea that a creator endowed us with inalienable rights.

All this anti God rhetoric equals an attack on the foundation of the Constitution.
(Witout a 'creator' there are no inalienable rights,ya'll!!!!Read the document,,it says it plainly.)

The idea that 'God belongs in people's heart and soul, not the government.':

The way contemporary christians are claimed to be equal to the 'infamously notoriously violent and corrupt' church systems of the past that committed such atrocities as the inquisitions and crusades or even burnt alledged witches.
Doing this displays a bigoted mindset.In the exact same way that someone who said anyone that doesn't believe in the God of the Christians is equally the same as any who also did not believe in God and have committed atrocious deeds in the past.
(IOW,,saying the christians of today are in some way being like those old time 'alledged' christians is like saying an atheist is acting like all the communists,nazis,muslims,dagonites,sodomites,vikings,picts or any other that didn't believe in the Judeo-Christian God down through history.)

As a Christian that has not been indoctrinated by any 'organised religion' and finds most 'mainstream religions' acting very different from what logic says they should be based on what they claim they base it on,,I agree that such religions as Roman Cathloticism that place such weight on any one man is devoid of the wisdom contained in the Judeo-Christian 'Bible'.

The real funny thing about that is that the Judeo-Christian religion contains the concepts of 'revile NOT the gods',obey rulers,don't punish the children for the fathers sins,show mercy,respect elders,,,oh yeah,,and forgiveness along with no need for blood sacrifices.
And as to the Hebrew/Judeo-Christian form of slavery,,if you get released after 6 years,,exactly how is that equal to what we consider as slavery today?
(Theorectically,,if you had a choice,out of all the cultures that ever had,,or still do have slavery,which culture would you 'rather' be enslaved by?)

Lastly for this piece,,

Come on,all you who reject the idea of God and His involvement through the Judeo-Christian ideology in our countries origins and how THAT IS what made us as great as we once were,take the blinders off,,reject the conditioning,,don't let the state continue turning generations of Americans into 'state worshipping worker drones'.

Face it,,since the 30's,,there has been 'increasingly intense' opposition to the concept of the J-C God in our country and there has been a corresponding decline in the peaceful,noble qualities which has contributed to the overall degeneration of the social and cultural environment of this country that seemed to kick in around the early 60's,,aboout the time Kennedy was assassinated.
And that decline is directly responsible for the character of the 'politician pool' (on all party sides lately) which voters can select their candidates from.

THAT couldn't/wouldn't happen IF the educational atmosphere hadn't been dominated by anti-religious individuals which catered to their own particular doctrinesm,beliefs and ideologies.Just like with any other human,,those 'personal,internal agendas color and influence the policies,procedures,practices and philosophies which control our educational systems curricuulum.

Now,,if only more people would look at the overall patterns that develope from the antics of their politicians and see how most have been 'dumbed down' sufficiently to start removing the 'authority above state' through telling the public it's for their own good and is 'insuring they retain those inalienable rights endowed by a 'Creator God' they deny exists or has any place in the minds if the men leading them.
HOW MORONIC IS THAT?

I have to say,,I am disgusted at the idiocy the public school system has indoctrinated the citizens of this country into accepting as sound logical thinking in regards to our constitution and the concepts actually espoused in them.

But,,that's just the opinion of a Christian,hetero,DANG-DInGIE American,,you know,,an Evil White Cracker of mixed immigrant ancestry,,the only demographic with no guarantee of 'equal treatment under the law' written into our laws,,who can't vote,,so who's gonna listen?

Well,,I have to admit,,I now feel soured about Tripod.I did receive a response but they said it was resolved but it wasn't,,and still isn't.

This Staks problem has taken away a big part of the pleasure I was feeling about doing this.

And now,,my pg view count is actually going backwards,,and I have no idea why that is happening.

On top of that,,I can't get any feedback about any thing I've put up from either web folk or the folk I know off line.

So,,right now I have no clear idea what I am going to do about it.

We all know why they run a free service,,it's to run adds for revenue and get you to eventually upgrade to a paid account.YET,,I am pretty sure I don't want to pay for this kind of service.

Given that the free accounts are to get you to upgrade,,it's supposed to be a 'preview' of the 'features' and 'services' they offer,,,If a free account holder can't count on the glitches that occur being taken care why have a bill for such?

I haven't wrote part 5 for Wee!Gee! yet and if I do I don't know if  will continue posting it on the Tripod site.Stay tuned,,I'll post my decision.

Maybe my happy relations with Tripod is going to take a turn for the worse.I tried to add a reply set to The Staks but Tripods editor is not letting me get to it from inside.

Clicking the blog folder icon just gives me the 'blog' itself.Previously to this the blog editor had to have the slect box checked to open.Clicking on the folder icon gave me the files under/in the blog directory itself,,not the blog opened in editable form.

I opened a trouble ticket with them,,their auto responder said they will get back to me in 5-7 days.

Whoo!Hoo!Don't you just love how the internet speeds up customer relations?

Anyway,,since I was on the verge of going to a paid account,(I have over 2000 pg views showing),maybe this will be a fortuitious unfortunate event if it reveals a flaw in their service.

I just hope I don't have to let all of what's in The Staks go static and start a new setup.That was a fair amount of work to just let hang there without being able to get/add to it.

I happened across another one of those stinking pieces of moonfruit on the excite politics boards that I just had to respond to,,and ol'pkpost went and wrote a four poster,,to which I just had to reply.So,,I did,,and it was huge so it wound up in The Staks.

It's primarily about the similarities,,or lack  of them according to pk,between the current Iraq/Terror conflict and WW2.

A talking budgie,a biased report and 1,237 pg views.

  I don't remember when I first ran across Victors website but it was sometime during the past four years.
 Victor is supposes to be a budgie (budgrigriar) that can talk contextually.That means he responds in a way that indicates he understands what he is saying.
  Now,,I have listened to a lot of what is availabe from his site and a few others that can be reached through that site and I have to admit that if,,I said IF it isn't a hoax or gimmick being pulled,,it would be kind of creepy.
  Is it a gimmick?I honestly don't know.I and my wife own a budgie and he seems to respond in a 'contextual fashion' regarding environmental events and on occasion he seems to chirp words or
quasi legible phrases but nothing like what Victor and crew is reputed to spit out.
  But I will say,,it's cute and amusing,,even though if ours did it,,I don't know how I would react.
  Especially the 'propehysing' part.That's down right creepy.But the bit about the anticipating the phone ringing sorta makes a weird sort of sense.

   A few days past I ran into a CNN report on Bellsouths news pages that sort of freaked me out.
  Why?Basically because I am surprised not only that CNN would release it as a CNN report but the fact that it was anonymous.
  I mean,,is it just me,,or has journalism lost something somewhere along the way?
