Aside from the reasons stated on my blog and on the front page here I have to add that once upon a time I had a WebTv account and through participating in a few of
the discussion boards there I caught the 'board bug'.
So,,long story made short,,I no longer have the WebTv account,(it's called MSNTv now) even though I still have
the unit. Now,I use my 'puter to read/lurk in many boards. On rare occasions I feel compelled to cease lurking and state
my reaction or opinion. When I do,,I tend to try to see how long actual conversations occur before the average boarders go
back to the common fare fond on boards.
I know,,if I didn't go to the hot button topic forums I probally would find more people able to remain rational
but I do wish to discuss just such as that on occasion.Even if I can't vote,,I still have cares and concerns regarding the
whos, whats, wheres and whys of the government that controls our lives and the society in which I live.I figure that the least
I can do is try to put out some thoughts and considerations that may lead some folks to see a little better in the hazy, crazy
life we live in.
Unfortunately,,I do often find myself wondering how,,if the folks I see on the boards are any indicator of what IS out
there voting,,how have we managed to not self destruct a long time ago.
After that,,the answer is,,,,
Because I started posting on Excites Politics Forum Board and found myself quickly feeling stifled by the post limitations and the amount of board clutter on a limited topic display
forum such as Excites 40 per page.
In particular there was a matter of my own locquasiousness causing a need for the ability to post long responses. That
led to me forming my blogs staks directory where I place those long items and some exchanges as well.
It allows for me to have added ability to expand on my topics, themes and ideas as well as keeping some things more
easily accessable.
Aug29/12:I have been unable to keep up technologically with Tripods advancements which means that management of the 'blog'
they provide is often hinky and usually frustrating and led me to explore other options at RoyHarbin.Cwahi.Net so clik on over and check out what I'm putting together there.
